چکیده

Background: Umbilical Doppler flow abnormalities occur in 6% of high-risk pregnancies. Preterm infants born with the umbilical artery waveforms is at a risk various complications. The objective this study were to understand and compare neonatal outcome normal verses abnormal antenatal Doppler. Methods: 100 newborns each Doppler, women singleton pregnancies 28 weeks above, enrolled for after taking informed written consent from parents. All followed up outcomes Results: Majority fetal seen mothers PIH (50% 21%) Intra uterine growth restriction (59% 29%) which was statistically significant. babies group delivered by LSCS compared (72% 36%). Neonates had more becoming SGA (52% 24%), developing NEC (32% 18%) thrombocytopenia (34% 17%). need longer duration NICU stay (22 days 14 days) mechanical ventilation them (17% 7%) group. Conclusions: Colour useful modality predict It allows better understanding hemodynamic changes feto-placental utero-placental circulation helps pediatrician anticipate complications early intervention thus results decreased morbidity mortality.

Does antenatal Betamethasone improve neonatal outcome in late preterm births?

Introduction: Preterm birth is a public health problem and late preterm birth (deliveries between 34-36 weeks of gestation) accounts for 75% of all preterm births. Antenatal Betamethasone can reduce the severity of respiratory distress in preterm infants and its effect is accepted in 24-34 weeks of gestation. Our goal was to determine the neonatal outcomes of Betamethasone prescription in late ...

The Relationship between Modified Biophysical Profile, Standard Biophysical Profile, and Neonatal Outcomes of High-risk Pregnancies

Introduction: High-risk pregnancies can result in many complications for the fetus. In these pregnancies, different tests such as non-stress test (NST), biophysical profile (BPP), oxytocin contraction stress test (OCT), and Doppler sonography can be used to evaluate fetal health. As standard BBP requires more time and expertise, in this study, we evaluated the relationship between standard BPP,...
